Castrén & Snellman continues at Eteläesplanadi 14

Law firm Castrén & Snellman has signed a new long-term lease agreement with A. Ahlström for Eteläesplanadi 14. Castrén & Snellman has operated its headquarters in the building since 2009. The centrally located office provides modern and well-being-oriented facilities for approximately 300 professionals.

A. Ahlström Corporation built the Eteläesplanadi 14 property, known as the Industrial Palace, in the late 1930s as its premises. Over the years, the building has undergone extensive renovations, expansions, and modernization, while its protected façade has remained unchanged. A. Ahlström still owns the property and has its own office in the building. The historic property is especially known for the Savoy Theatre and the eighth-floor Savoy Restaurant, whose interior was designed by Aino and Alvar Aalto. In recent years, the building has been actively developed, and the street-level commercial spaces now house Café Savoy and Restaurant Minne, among others.
