Tampere, Central Business District, GO21

The new business premises project in Tampere city centre named Go21 is a significant addition to the cityscape of the area. In this Ratapihankatu real estate project, a high-quality and
certified office of the future will be created in an excellent location in the immediate vicinity of Tampere railway station and the new tramway. The building will have approximately 11,000 m² of business premises for lease.

The construction of the property started in late 2021, and it is scheduled for completion in 2023.

Espoo, Finnoo, EriCa

In 2021, Kemira, Kemira’s Pension Fund Neliapila and a consortium consisting of Ahlström Capital, Kirkon Eläkerahasto and Aktia Life Insurance Ltd signed a pre-agreement and a lease agreement to build a new research centre for Kemira as part of the Green Chemistry Park concept. The business premises concept of approximately 25,000 m2 floor area – known as Erica – will include state-of-the-art laboratory and office spaces next to apartment buildings and a large park.

The area will become a cluster of expertise in science and green chemistry, adding to the centre of science and start-ups of Otaniemi and the bioeconomy and innovation hubs of Kiviruukki. The new research centre is scheduled for completion in summer 2024.

Helsinki, Kumpula, Kustaanportti

Senate Properties and Helsinki University Properties Ltd. organised a partnership and bidding competition in spring 2022 for the northernmost block complex of Kumpulanmäki area situated at the intersection of the Kustaa Vaasan tie and Pietari Kalmin katu streets. Avain Yhtiöt and A. Ahlström Real Estate won the competition with the proposition titled “Kustaanportti” produced by the architecture firm Arkkitehtitoimisto HMV Oy.

The property will consist of right-of-occupancy apartments, long-term interest subsidy rental apartments and non-subsidised housing. The planning will bring much-needed services to the area; cafés, restaurants and a grocery store.
