Mika Wahlman appointed as Ahlström’s new Forest Director

Forestry Engineer Mika Wahlman has been appointed as the new Forest Director of A. Ahlström Real Estate. He will assume his position in Noormarkku, Pori, on April 1, 2026. The current Forest Director, Timo Viinamäki, will retire after a great career and 17 years with the company.

Mika has a 26-year career at UPM, most recently as Customer Relations Manager. His experience spans timber trade, forestry services, customer relations, and leadership roles across various positions and locations. Originally from Noormarkku, Mika knows the local forests well.
