Timo Riikonen appointed as Group CFO and Investment Director

A. Ahlström Oy has appointed Timo Riikonen (M.Sc. (Econ.)) as its new Group CFO and Investment Director, effective 13 April 2026.

Timo brings 16 years of experience from the Forest and Fiber industry, joining Ahlström from Metsä Group, where he has held several business and finance leadership roles across the organisation. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President leading and developing the Greaseproof Papers business unit at Metsä Tissue. Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Metsä Wood.

Pasi Koota, who has served as Chief Financial Officer of A. Ahlström since 2017, has decided to continue his career outside the company.
