Vacon is sold

At the end of 2001, Ahlström Capital acquired an 8% interest in Vacon Plc. The company developed, manufactured and marketed power electronics devices for the needs of industry and utilities worldwide and had a revenue of 90.5 meur (2001).
The size of Ahlström Capital’s holding in Vacon had varied over the years, being 20% at its highest. Prior to the sale to Denmark-based Danfoss, Ahlström Capital was Vacon’s largest shareholder with a 10.6% ownership. In 2014, Vacon’s revenue was 409 meur.
Our ownership in Vacon was divested in 2014.
